Muzamil Ali knows that you always have to be ready for anything when stationed at the front door. During one of his shifts, he was keeping an eye on the entrance when a situation unfolded right in front of him.
It’s moments like these where training and observation skills are really put to the test.
“I was standing near the door when two people came into the store. They stole some items—shirts, pants, a card, and some shoes—and tried to leave. I noticed them and said, ‘Guys, can I see your bag?’ They claimed they had just found the bag in the store and didn’t know what was inside.“
This incident shaped how Muzamil views security work and his contribution to the industry.

“I took the stolen items back from them and informed the manager. The manager was very happy, and that was a proud moment for me.”
Muzamil didn’t let their excuses deter him. He stayed calm but firm, ensuring the situation was handled professionally before they could leave the premises. Seeing how happy and relieved the manager was made all the vigilance worth it. It was a genuinely rewarding experience for Muzamil, knowing he had done his job well and protected the store.
Muzamil’s takeaway? Trust your instincts and stay calm under pressure. When you handle a situation professionally, the results speak for themselves.
