To hold a Green CSCS Labourer Card, you must complete the CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training Course.
Completing the CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training Course includes passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test. This is also sometimes referred to as a CSCS test.
The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test is part of the larger CITB Health and Safety Awareness Training Course.
At the end of the course, you’ll need to pass a multiple-choice question exam. The CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test is made up of 50 questions, which cover five core knowledge areas.

Step 1 - Complete this course for your Level-1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction environment.
Step 2 - Pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Operatives exam which is booked separately.
Step 3 - Once you have passed both the course and exam, you can then apply for your CSCS Green Labour card. Please note, the CITB Health, Safety & Environment exam and cost for the CSCS Green Card application fee is not included in the course price.
