The Door Supervisor Training Course is for anyone who wants to work legally as a Door Supervisor or a Security Guard in the UK.
This 6-day course contains the knowledge and skills you need to pass your exam and apply for your SIA Licence. That licence is your ticket to working in the growing security industry, where your skills will be in constant demand.

Door Supervisor Training vs Security Guard Training
We’re often asked what the difference is between a Door Supervisor Licence and a Security Guard Licence. Luckily, the difference is easy to remember.
A Door Supervisor Licence allows you to work as a Door Supervisor and a Security Guard, while a Security Guard Licence only allows you to work in a Manned Guarding role.
What will I learn on the course?
The course runs over six consecutive days, and it's divided into four units and covers everything from the legal aspects of security to the latest physical intervention techniques.

Getting your SIA Door Supervisor Licence is relatively easy! All you need to do is follow the simple steps:

- Complete the licence application on the SIA's website
- Receive your 3-year licence in the post

Results are usually available within 5-9 working days, or 5 working days with our Faster Results service. You will be notified by email and SMS when your results are available.
Certificates are available via email within a week of completing the course. You may request a posted certificate at an additional cost of £14.99.
You can work as a Security Guard with a Door Supervisor Licence. In fact, the Door Supervisor Licence is one of the most versatile licences in the security industry. It's important to remember that if you instead take the Security Guard Course, for example, you can't apply for a Door Supervisor badge.
This makes the Door Supervisor Course more valuable when applying for jobs, and will make you more eligible for more work much faster.
